I paid $250 used for an unused display model CR10J Metabo and $529 new in box for my dewalt. It’s still in for service now after a week. The extra few inches of rip capacity on the Metabo come at the cost of an accurate fence overall and the fence adjustment mechanism is much tighter and more robust on the dewalt. Buy the better saw in real life (not on paper). The Metabo feels like a clone of the dewalt made in Russia with “better specs”. And just look up “Metabo job site saw soft start issues” and it will make your decision for you. If you’re not doing production work it won’t matter. Metabo has soft start and electric brake. Just for reference, I have both the dewalt and the Metabo in the garage.
